The Night That Was…

IMG_0566Last night I was so proud of Jeff E., Cody and Michael. They do such a good job with our tech stuff. Jeff does all of our intro video production (’the scoop’) and last night’s was hilarious. I also thought how blessed we are as I looked around and saw many of our adult leaders…leaders who have busy lives yet make time to invest in the lives of others for the sake of the Kingdom. I’m privileged to serve with each of you! Your inspire my faith and my passion for ministry.

We had Jared Kliewer last night for worship…I thought he did a great job! Gabe played as well and sounded amazing on the electric and Zach and Erik did another nails job as well. It’s so fun to hear a full room singing like that to God. I think God was honored by it.

I gave a message from Acts 2:1-41 on and focused on how after this unmatched movement of God at Penetcost there were some who “mocked” in disbelief. We talked about how sometimes when you are mocked or made fun of it might not be as bad as you think. That if you stand out for your faith in Jesus should actually be encouraged becuase others can truly tell that you are with Him. One girl said to me later that in her home she is discouraged from reading her Bible, she is told not to. I applauded her desire to walk intimately with Jesus.
